If I may suggest a path, the guy who always yells "Believe in the Lord!" at Yonge and Dundas would probably have an extremely successful blog. Assuming he knew how to use a computer.
I'm not saying yell at people as they walk by and terrify them, but something along those lines! haha
Totally agree with you SAFoster. If only it was so easy! I think it is definitely important though to have original content, update consistently, and share and promote others information.
