I follow and read the blogs that I do because they are constantly updated with information that is relevant to Public Relations and the use of social media. Different ideas and how they are working in real life are constantly posted and explored.
I enjoy reading the different points of view that are outlined in each blog. For instance, when a new method to communicate is brought to our attention, i.e. How wonderful Twitter is, these blogs really go into detail and provide pertinent information.
The blogs I explore provide different type of information, anything from social media, Public Relations, Public Relations and the use of social media, and various lifestyles. These bloggers have strong opinions and are confident with what they say, which makes me view different topics from a larger lens.
I enjoy how these blogs relate their information and topics to real-life situations. This allows me to stay ontop of current issues and how different companies are dealing with them. On Twitter and Facebook you get bits and pieces of news or stories, but on blogs I believe that you can get a greater idea of issues and details that complete a story.
I enjoy these blogs because they provide details on current issues, but in a manner that is quick and easy to digest. I believe that I have substituted newspapers and magazines, to reading these blogs. Not only can I click from one blog to another, I can cross reference to other blogs all at the same time.
These blogs really emphasize the use of social media in Public Relations, which I agree and believe in, as it is a key tool in proper and immediate form of communication. People expect an immediate response from companies when an issue arises and using social media is imperative. I enjoy how these blogs help emphasize this point, and provide examples to show it.
I believe these blogs are insightful and help me formulate my opinion and view on issues. The information I find on these blogs gives me knowledge on news and current issues that allow me to be updated and informed when I have to talk about relevant and contemporary events.
I will continue to follow these bloggers and hope to continue obtaining interesting and relevant information in relation to Public Relations and social media.
